JOB DESCRIPTION

Top Choice seeking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Clerk to join our finance team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing financial, administrative, and clerical duties to ensure efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations daily, and to support the day-to-day accounting functions. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with strong attention to detail and a passion for numbers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reconciliations of daily sales
  • Debtor Chasing (tracking of payments and following up on overdue accounts)
  • Posting of purchase invoices and expenses
  • Posting of clients’ cash on delivery payments
  • Posting of cheques
  • Petty cash recording
  • Other administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and responding to e-mails

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • A Level in Accounting or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
  • Previous 2 years experience as an Accounts Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Must be fluent in Maltese and English

Nice to HAVE

  • Working knowledge on Shireburn/WinSims
  • Proficiency in a Microsoft Office Suite
