JOB DESCRIPTION
Top Choice seeking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Clerk to join our finance team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing financial, administrative, and clerical duties to ensure efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations daily, and to support the day-to-day accounting functions. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with strong attention to detail and a passion for numbers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reconciliations of daily sales
- Debtor Chasing (tracking of payments and following up on overdue accounts)
- Posting of purchase invoices and expenses
- Posting of clients’ cash on delivery payments
- Posting of cheques
- Petty cash recording
- Other administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and responding to e-mails
REQUIRED SKILLS
- A Level in Accounting or equivalent
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
- Previous 2 years experience as an Accounts Clerk or in a similar role.
- Must be fluent in Maltese and English
Nice to HAVE
- Working knowledge on Shireburn/WinSims
- Proficiency in a Microsoft Office Suite
