JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a responsible and reliable Delivery Person to join our team. Our drivers follow a daily schedule and transport appliances to the assigned routes. The ideal candidate must be willing to work as part of a team to ensure that all items are safely delivered to our customers. To succeed as a delivery person, you should be polite and committed to provide our clients with an excellent experience. You should be thorough in ensuring orders are properly fulfilled, diligent towards work safety, and passionate about satisfying clients.

Key RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver appliances, electronics, and other assigned products safely and on schedule to customers.
  • Verify delivery invoices and documentation to ensure all items delivered are complete, accurate, and match the invoiced quantities.
  • Load, unload, and handle products with care to prevent damage during transportation and delivery.
  • Install and connect appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers, and televisions, where required.
  • Collect payments for delivered items where applicable.
  • Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while ensuring timely completion of deliveries.
  • Provide courteous, professional, and customer-focused service during all customer interactions.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and promptly report any delivery issues, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, safe, and roadworthy at all times.
  • Comply with all company policies, traffic regulations, and health and safety procedures.
  • Support warehouse and logistics operations as required to ensure efficient order fulfilment.

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid Maltese Category B driving licence with a clean driving record.
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy appliances safely.
  • Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Maltese is considered an asset.
  • Ability to use GPS navigation systems to locate delivery destinations efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
