Small Appliance Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Small Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of small household appliances, such as microwaves, vacuum cleaners, coffee machines, blenders, and toasters. The technician will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and efficient repairs, and maintaining a high level of safety and professionalism.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform on-site fault finding and repairs of small appliances.
Request and manage parts accurately and in a timely manner.
Replace defective parts and components.
Install and test small appliances following safety and operational guidelines.
Utilize service information effectively to troubleshoot and repair small appliances.
Work independently and with minimum supervision.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Strong communication skills – to interact with customers and colleagues.
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Maltese.
Valid driving license B

Nice to HAVE

Previous work experience in appliance repair.
Knowledge of small appliances.
