The Concept Store features a wide range of innovative home appliances by Master Kitchen. Master Kitchen offers kitchen appliances that are designed by people who have experience in the kitchen, and its appliances provide reliability and performance. The concept store also features a vast range of premium TVs with QLED technology by Sharp as well as premium TVs by LG with OLED, QNED and NanoCell technology, a brand which is also officially represented in Malta by Top Choice.

Robert Tabone, Managing Director of Top Choice, expressed his excitement about the new venture, stating that “by opening a new concept store, we can now offer a wider range of products for our clients to choose from, where they not only experience the latest technology but always find the best prices on the market. The concept store is the go-to store for clients who want to experience the features and functionality of the products. Such an environment makes clients feel more at home and can make better decisions when choosing their appliances”.

The event saw the presence of the Shadow Minister for the Environment, Hon. Rebekah Borg, who praised the initiative, noting the success and growth of Top Choice. Hon. Rebekah Borg also spoke about the importance of retail businesses and how they contribute towards the local economy. She also spoke about the challenges that local retailers face while recognizing “the importance of the retail sector in our community” and the importance of supporting the retail industry to grow and develop “to remain a strong and vibrant part of our community.”
Representatives from Sharp and Master Kitchen were also in attendance, and their presence highlighted the strong partnerships and collaborations that Top Choice has established to bring a diverse and high-quality shopping experience to its customers.

The official opening featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a guided tour to brand representatives and honorable guests, and a small reception among the attendees. The Top Choice Concept Store can be found in Triq Erba’ Mwiezeb in St Paul’s Bay adjacent to Top Choice retail outlet.

About Top Choice:

Top Choice a deep-rooted history and it all started with Charles & Theresa Tabone founding their company back in 1967. The couple started their business venture by opening an ironmongery in Hamrun. Soon after, they acquired their second establishment and started specialising in home décor and crockery.
In the mid-1980s, Charles and Theresa retired, and their son Robert took over the family business. Tabone re-structured the company’s branding and established the company name Top Choice in 1999. During these times the business expanded and started importing appliances, Hi-Fi equipment, and televisions. In fact, Top Choice was amongst the first television importers in Malta.
By 2002, Top Choice had built a strong market presence and enlarged their Hamrun outlet by 1000sqm. In 2010, the company opened its second retail outlet in Żabbar and eight years later invested in its third outlet in St Paul’s Bay. Along with these achievements, Top Choice started representing several renowned brands such as LG, Ariston, Sharp, Toshiba, Master Kitchen, Trust, Intenso, Lenco and many others. Nowadays, Top Choice is one of Malta’s leading consumer electronics and home appliances retailers and is continuously expanding by creating a more engaging customer experience.
